How do I sign up to work with Competitive Creations to receive information about upcoming projects?

Am I reimbursed for parking?
Typically, no. As an independent contractor, your travel,
transportation, and other expenses are not reimbursed unless agreed to prior to the booking confirmation, however parking is often free at most venues. If you do receive a project where expenses and transportation are covered, you’ll need to follow a strict guideline in reporting these expenses.
As an Independent Contractor, am I able to work with different promotional staffing companies?
Yes, working events with Competitive Creations is only on an Independent Contractor basis, and you are not prohibited from working events with other companies, this is clearly outlined in our Independent Contractor Agreement. If you have any questions about working as an independent contractor, we would encourage you to review our agreement before working with Competitive Creations.
How old do I need to be to work for Competitive Creations?
You must be at least 18 years old and legally allowed to work in the United States to be considered for our jobs. Some projects require you to be at least 21 years of age and that information will be specified in the ‘Competitive Opportunity’ Announcement.

When do I get paid after an event?
The industry standard of sending payment in the check form to an independent contractor is 4-6 weeks after your entire event/project ends. However, payment on certain promotions is sent a lot sooner. Refer to your individual booking confirmation and/or
your Independent Contractor Agreement for further information.
It's been 8 weeks and I have not received my check

accounting@competitivecreations.com Please list the date(s), time(s) and event/project you have not received payment for. If you need a replacement check due to providing an incorrect mailing address, your new check will have a $30 fee deducted to cover the cost for stop payment on the original check payment.
